Easter Weekend, 2020

 In Prayers

Good Friday, April 10th

Dear people of God, our Heavenly Father Sent His Son into the world, not to condemn the world, BUT THAT THE WORLD THROUGH HIM MIGHT BE SAVED.

Christ the Lord became obedient unto death, EVEN DEATH ON THE CROSS.

Almighty God, look graciously, we pray, on this your family, for whom our Lord Jesus Christ was willing to be betrayed and given into the hands of sinners, and to suffer death upon the cross; but who now lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

WERE YOU THERE WHEN THEY CRUCIFIED MY LORD ? WERE YOU THERE WHEN THEY NAILED HIM TO THE CROSS? WERE YOU THERE WHEN THEY PIERCED HIM IN THE SIDE?

Holy Saturday, April 11th

Therefore, God has highly exalted Him and given him a name which is above every name. Philippians 2. 9.

O God, creator of heaven and earth, as the crucified body of your dear Son was laid in the tomb and rested on this holy night, so may we await with him the coming of the third day, and rise with him in newness of life; who now lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

WERE YOU THERE WHEN THEY LAID HIM IN THE TOMB? WERE YOU THERE WHEN THE SUN REFUSED TO SHINE? WERE YOU THERE WHEN HE BURST THE BONDS OF DEATH?

Easter Day, April 12th

Christ our Passover has BEEN SACRIFICED FOR US therefore let us keep the feast. 1 Corinthians 5.7

THE LORD IS RISEN INDEED – THANKS BE TO GOD- ALLELUIA.

May the Light of Christ, rising in glory, dispel the darkness of the world and open our hearts and minds to THE GLORY OF HIS RESURRECTION – ALLELUIA, AMEN.

LORD OF LIFE AND POWER, THROUGH THE MIGHTY RESURRECTION OF YOUR SON, YOLU HAVE OVERCOME THE OLD ORDER OF SIN AND DEATH AND HAVE MADE ALL THINGS NEW IN HIM. MAY WE, BEING DEAD TO SIN AND ALIVE TO YOU IN JESUS CHRIST, REIGN WITH HIM IN GLORY. WHO WITH YOU AND THE HOLY SPIRIT IS ALIVE, ONE GOD, NOW AND FOREVER, ALLELUIA, AMEN.

Lord Jesus, through your mighty resurrection, we pray you to look down from heaven and lay your HOLY HEALING HANDS upon the sick and the suffering of the COVID 19 crisis of our time. Give courage and strength to those who are ministering to the sick, the weak and the dying. Help us all to see, to know, and to feel the healing power of your Mighty Resurrection – Let the whole world know your power to heal and to save – Risen Lord, Rise up among us and grant us your peace. Amen.

God of our life bring us all to the glory of the resurrection. Amen.

May the peace and joy of The Resurrection be with you. Alleluia, Amen.

Blessings,
