Saturday: The Presentation of Christ in the Temple

This is a light to reveal God to the nations and the glory of his people Israel Luke 2, 32

Blessed are you, O Lord our God, for you have sent us your salvation. Inspire us by your Holy Spirit to recognize Him who is the glory of Israel and the light of the nations, your Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Lord, the light of your love is shining, in the midst of the darkness shining, Jesus , Light of the world, shine upon us, set us free by the truth you now bring us, shine upon us, shine upon us. (Graham Kendrick)

Sunday, February 3rd, 2019: Fourth Sunday after Epiphany

Jesus went about Galilee, teaching, preaching, and healing every disease. Matthew 4. 23

Living God, in Christ you make all things new. Transform the poverty of our human nature by the riches of your grace, and in the renewal of our lives make known your glory, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for every. Amen.

King of love, O Christ, we crown you, Lord of thought and Lord of will, each demand of your high challenge dedicated to fulfill, we with you by grace co-workers, till, where human foot has trod, peoples, kings, dominions, races, own the empire of our God. (Charles Venn Pilcher)
God of grace and God of glory, you nourish us with daily bread for our daily living. Fill us with your Holy Spirit, that through us your light may shine in the world. We ask this in the name and for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Pray for the peace of the world. Pray for the leaders of the nations. Pray for people everywhere. Pray for your family and friends. Pray for yourself. Lift up all creation that the living God may be in us, and we in Him. Glory be to you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, be in our homes and in our nation, world without end. Amen.

Go forth into the world in peace, be of good cheer, hold fast that which is good, render to no one evil for evil, love and serve the Lord, and the God of Peace will be with you. Amen.
