 In Prayers

Trinity Sunday

Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord of Hosts , the whole earth is full of his glory – Isaiah 6. 3.

Father, we praise you: through your Word and Holy Spirit you created all things. You reveal your salvation in all the world by sending to us Jesus Christ, the word made flesh. Through your Holy Spirit you give us a share in your life and love. Fill us with a vision of your glory, that we may always serve and praise you. Father, Son and Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Yours the hand that made creation, womb of every constellation, every species, every nation. Jesus , from the first descending, by your birth the broken mending. Word of God the never ending. Glory to the three in one. Amen.

The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom then shall I fear ? The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom then shall I be afraid ? For in the day of trouble, he shall keep me safe in his shelter. Our Faithful God, is the shelter of all who who trust in Him. Come, see the goodness of the Lord, in the land of the living. (Words From Psalm 27)

Three in one and one in three. Ruler of the earth and sea. Grant us your light and your peace, on earth as it is in heaven.

Glory to God, whose power, working in us, can do infinitely more that we can ask or imagine. Glory to God from generation to generation. In the world through Christ Jesus, For ever and ever. Amen.

Spirit of the living God, fall afresh on me; break me, melt me, mold me, fill me, Make me humble, caring, selfless, sharing. Spirit of the living God fill our hearts with love. (From a hymn by Michael Baughen)
