Trinity Sunday
Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of thy glory. Isaiah 6. 3.
God the Father, you created us. God the Son, you redeemed us. God the Holy Spirit, you make us Holy. Three persons, one God – The Blessed Trinity.
Father, we praise you: through your Word and Holy Spirit you created all things. Your reveal your salvation in all the world by sending to us Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh. Through your Holy Spirit you give us a share in your life and love. Fill us with a vision of your glory, that we may always serve you, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
Yours the hand that made creation, womb of every constellation, every species, every nation, Glory to the three in one. (Elliot Rose)
Living God, Grant that hearing your word and responding to your Spirit, we may share in your divine life, worship you in all we do, and proclaim your glory in all the world. Amen.
Lord God we give thanks, for creation and the life you have given us; We pray for the world and all who share it with us; We pray that we may live in peace with each other; We give thanks for our daily bread; for our ability to work and play and rest; for health and strength, and ability to take our part in your created order.
And we pray for those who are sick, the weak and the dying, Bless them all with your peace and draw us all closer together in your love. For you, Father, created us for yourself and we will not find grace and peace in our lives until we find it in you. May we do your will on earth as it is in heaven. Amen
