Let your countenance shine upon your servant and teach me your statutes. Psalm 119. v135
Stir up, O Lord, the wills of your faithful people, that richly bearing the fruit of good works we may by you be richly rewarded; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
Lord, your word shall guide us and with truth provide us, Teach us to receive it and with joy believe it. When the storms distress us and dark clouds oppress us, then you word protects us and its light directs us… (Henry Williams Baker)
We pray for the peace of the world, that all humanity may live in freedom, with justice and dignity in their lives.
We pray for all who need to know the healing power of Christ, the love of God and the strength of the Holy Spirit within them. Amen.
We pray for all whose lives have been disturbed, property damaged, and those who have lost loved ones in extreme weather conditions and accidents.
We pray for those returning to school, college or University, teachers and students, in this new Season of teaching and learning.
We pray for the workforce of our Communities, management and labour.
We pray for all who serve their country within the Military Forces .
Let each take their place in working for the good of the whole, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray for all in their daily life and work
Amen.
Lord Jesus keep us firm in the hope you have set before us. So that we and all your people shall be free, and the whole earth live to praise your name; Lord Jesus, Light of the World, let your light shine upon us all. Keep us firm in the hope you have set before us, Praise be to God. Amen.
